Simultaneous Appearance of xWays and Regular Symbols

For this feature to trigger, an 'xWays symbol' and a regular symbol of the type it can expand into must appear on the reels at the same time.

Phase 1: Expansion of the xWays Symbol

First, the xWays symbol expands into 2 or more identical regular symbols. (e.g., an xWays symbol expands into 3 'Skull' symbols)

Phase 2: Spreading the Infection

This is the key phase. If any regular symbols of the same kind as the one revealed in Phase 1 (e.g., 'Skull') exist on other reels, all those symbols will expand in the same way as the xWays symbol. In other words, the infection spreads.
