I’m Not Guilty, I’m Just Lucky
When a win reaches the maximum, the game pays the winnings and ends the active feature. That is an ordinary game rule. Yet this slot’s help text says the remaining features are “forfeited.” The wording makes a legitimate win sound as though the player had done something wrong.

The Issue
The maximum-win rules in Coven Rising by Pragmatic Play say that once the feature’s total win reaches 5,000x the bet, the round ends immediately and the win is awarded. The Korean text then says “남은 모든 기능은 몰수됩니다” — literally, “all remaining features are confiscated.” It describes the end of unused play as though the player were being penalized.
At the moment a legitimate win is paid, “confiscated” gives an ordinary outcome the tone of an unfair penalty.
Analysis
The English source already says “win is awarded and all remaining features are forfeited.” Forfeited can evoke the loss of a right or a penalty. Here the player has done nothing wrong; they have simply reached the stated win cap.
The Korean 몰수 (confiscation) sharpens that punitive reading. In a casino context it can evoke the confiscation of winnings after misconduct. A rule explaining a legitimate maximum win should not make a winning player sound at fault.
Possible Solutions
Replace the punitive-sounding “forfeited” with neutral wording about the feature ending: “Once the feature’s total win reaches 5,000x the bet, the active feature ends immediately. The win is awarded, and any remaining rounds are not played.” If the game uses a specific name for those remaining opportunities, use that name instead of “rounds.”
The Korean can likewise say that the feature ends, the win is paid, and unused turns are not played. Revise the English source first, then use the same neutral framing across locales.
Scope of the Issue
Both the Korean “몰수” and the English source word “forfeited” are visible in this case. The issue begins in the source copy; it is not confined to a Korean word choice.
Other localized help screens built from the same source may also make a legitimate win sound like a loss of rights. The same framing can spread across locales.
Potential Risks

Punitive wording in the source can become even harsher when translated. Here the Korean “몰수” makes the player sound more clearly at fault. The English source also needs revision to keep the same tone from spreading into other languages.
Reaching the maximum win should be a positive moment. Describing it as a penalty replaces that sense of achievement with resentment. One ill-chosen source phrase can diminish the experience across locales.
